Professor Silke Christiansen is appointed professor since November 2013 at Freie University, Berlin and she runs a research group for Nanoarchitectures for energy conversion at the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie, Germany. She also heads a research group for Photonic Nanostructures at the MaxPlanck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen, Germany.
