He a member of the Endocrinology, Diabetes and Nutrition research unit of the Catholic University of Louvain, a board member of the Belgian Society of Laboratory Medicine and the French Society of Laboratory Medicine and a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology. He is also a member of the division on emerging technology of the International Federation of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (IFCC) and the endocrinology division of the American Association of Clinical Chemistry (AACC).
