Dr. Ajram gained her pharmacology degree at King's College London, which included a one-year industrial placement in respiratory pharmacology at GlaxoSmithKline, and went on to complete her Ph.D. in translational neuropharmacology at the Institute of Psychiatry (IoP), joint with Eli Lilly & Co in 2018. Dr. Ajram is currently the Programme Manager for the Psychiatry Consortium at Medicines Discovery Catapult, working with global pharmaceutical companies, research charities and contract research organizations to create a portfolio of projects to accelerate drug discovery in psychiatric disorders. Dr. Ajram is also an elected trustee of the British Pharmacological Society.
